Car Free Day Will Enliven Kota Tua This Sunday

West Jakarta Administration is about to hold the Car Free Day (HBKB) in Kota Tua, Sunday (5/17). To smoothen its implementation, the road diversion will be applied.

Alternative access has been prepared during Car Free Day this Sunday

The road diversion that started at 6-11 AM will be applied on Jalan Kali Besar Barat, Jalan Kali Besar Timur, Jalan Kunir, Jalan Kopi, and Jalan Pos Kota.

West Jakarta Transportation Sub-Department Head, Mirza Aryadi said his sub-department has prepared an altenative access that can be passed from the north side such as Jalan Bandengan Utara, Jalan Pejagalan, Jalan Bendera, Jalan Cengkeh, Jalan Kali Besar Timur, and Jalan Kunir.

As for the south side, the motorist can pass through Jalan Pintu Besar Selatan or Jalan Jembatan Baru, Jalan Pintu Besar Utara, Jalan Bank, Jalan Malaka, Jalan Roa Malaka Selatan, Jalan Kopi, Jalan Pejagalan, and Jalan Bandengan Selatan.

"Alternative access has been prepared during Car Free Day this Sunday," he explained, Thursday (5/14).

In order to smoothen the event well, Aryadi added, local people urged to obey the traffic officer's direction in the field.

"We want people to obey the traffic sign and the officer's direction in the field," he disclosed.
